This past weekend we were in visual bliss. On Saturday we attended The Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design Exhibit. We were one of the first to view over 75 Costumes from 16 shows, movies, and television-series like Downtown Abbey, Boardwalk Empire, and ABC’s Pretty Little Liars. We kept our eyes busy viewing exquisite design, our palates moist with the signature White Cosmo, while enjoying the work of showcased designers like Pretty Little Liars Mandi Line. Not only did we enjoy the beautiful California weather, we drew a liking to the personality and personal clothing selections of the designers; particularly Luke Reichle, costume designer for ABC’s Castle. The sixth annual exhibit celebrates costume designers nominated for this year’s Prime-time Emmy’s.
View the collections for yourself Tuesday, July 31 through Saturday, October 20 between the hours of 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The event is free and available for your viewing pleasure at the FIDM Museum, 919 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles.
